Use the Timeline to manage background music, voiceover, and clip audio. Adjust each track's volume to balance the sound.
Add Background Music (BGM)
Set the mood of your video with music from Medeo’s Stock library, uploaded audio, or AI-generated tracks.
Choose a music track
On the Timeline, select the BGM track.
In the toolbar, select BGM to open the Select music panel.
Browse or search for a track, then select Use to apply it.
The selected track is added to your video.
Find music by describing the style
Describe the mood or style you want, and Medeo finds matching audio tracks.
Open the Select music panel.
In the search box, enter a description such as:
“calm piano”
“energetic electronic”
3. Preview the result, then select Use for your preferred track.
Choose a music source
The Select music panel offers three sources, shown as tabs:
Stock: Browse Medeo’s music library for ready-to-use tracks.
Uploaded: Access audio files uploaded through Assets.
Generated: Reuse music that you generated with AI.
Upload your own music
Add custom audio files through Assets.
In Assets, open Media, then select BGM.
Select the + button to upload your audio file.
Once the upload is complete, select the track to add it to your video.
Uploaded music is saved to your project’s Assets, so you can reuse it without uploading it again.
Generate music with AI
Create a custom music track by describing the style or mood you want.
In the Command Box, describe the music you want. For example: "Generate some upbeat background music."
Medeo generates a track and adds it to your video.
You can find and reuse the track later on the Generated tab in the Select music panel.
Change Voiceover
Choose a voice that fits the tone of your video.
Change the voice
On the Timeline, select the Voiceover track.
Select a different AI voice from the available options.
Change the language of voiceover
On the Timeline, select the Voiceover track.
Open Select voice.
Use the language dropdown to choose a language.
Select the voice you want to use.

Medeo offers a range of multilingual AI voices to suit different video styles.
Browse available voices in Select voice.
Preview a voice before selecting it.
Adjust Audio Volume
Balance your voiceover, music, and clip audio by adjusting the volume of each track independently.
Audio tracks include:
Clip audio: Sound included with generated or uploaded clips.
Background music: Music added to your video.
Voiceover: Narration generated from your Audio Script.
Adjust or mute a track
Select the audio track you want to adjust.
Select the Volume icon in the toolbar.
Drag the slider to increase or decrease the volume.
Select the Volume icon again to mute or unmute the track.
