The Command Box

The Command Box brings together your instructions, source material, and generation settings in one place, so you can shape your video before generating it.

The Command Box is Medeo's chat input area. Enter your idea, attach files or links, choose any optional settings, and select Generate.

Use the options in the Command Box to add supporting material to your prompt.


Add a webpage

Add a webpage link URL to give Medeo source material for your video. Medeo can use relevant text and images from the linked page.

You can add a blog post, article, product page, landing page, tutorial, or ecommerce page.

  1. At the bottom-left of the Command Box, select the + button.

  2. Select URL.

  3. Paste the webpage link.


Upload your files

Upload your own files to use as reference material for your video.

You can upload images, videos, audio files, and documents such as PDFs and PowerPoint presentations.

  1. Below the Command Box, select the Add (+) button.

  2. Select Files.

  3. Choose the file you want to upload.


Add a Virtual avatar

Add a Virtual avatar to present your video. Choose a public avatar or use one you created.

  1. Below the Command Box, select Add (+).

  2. Select Virtual avatar.

  3. Choose an avatar from Public avatar or My avatar.

Adjust Creation Settings

Before you generate a video, use the settings in the Command Box to customize the result.

Available options include:


Choose the Model

Choose the AI image and video models used to generate your video.

View available models and their credit costs on the Model Pricing page.

Choose Aspect Ratio

Medeo supports two aspect ratios:

  • 9:16 — Vertical video

  • 16:9 — Horizontal video

To choose an aspect ratio:

  1. In the Command Box, select the aspect ratio.

  2. Select Generate.

Medeo will then create your video in the selected aspect ratio.

Choose Duration

Select how long you want your video to be.Available durations are:

  • Auto — Medeo sets the length based on your content

  • 15 seconds

  • 30 seconds

  • 60 seconds


Choose Assets source

Choose where Medeo gets the visuals for your video.Available sources are:

  • Auto — Automatically match the most suitable assets.

  • AI video — Use AI-generated videos as the source.

  • AI image — Use AI-generated images as the source.

  • My uploaded assets — Use your own uploaded assets as the source.

  • Stock videos — Use official stock videos as the source. Over 1M videos available.


Choose AI style

Select the visual style of your video.

Customize Voice

Set the voice for your video before you generate it.


​Set the Auto language

Before generating a video, choose a language under Auto language.

Medeo uses your selection as the default language for future voiceovers.

​Choose a Voice

Choose a voice for your video from Medeo’s voice library.

You can filter or select voices by:

  • Gender

  • Language

  • Style


Generate Your Video

When your instructions and settings are ready, select Generate.

Medeo will process your request and generate a video based on your input.
