The Command Box

The Command Box brings together your instructions, source material, and generation settings in one place, so you can shape your video before generating it.

The Command Box is where you describe the video you want to create. You can also add source material, start a guided workflow, choose generation settings, and select the planning model. When you are ready, click the Generate button (↑) to start.

Select Add (+) to open Plan, URL to Video, Audio Script to Video, URL, File, Virtual avatar, AI style, and Voice.


Add a webpage

Use URL to attach a webpage to your prompt. Medeo can use relevant text and images from the page as source material. To create a video directly from a webpage, choose URL to Video instead.

You can add a blog post, article, product page, landing page, tutorial, or ecommerce page.

  1. Click Add (+).

  2. Select URL.

  3. Paste the webpage link.


Upload your files

Upload your own files to use as reference material for your video.

You can upload images, videos, audio files, and documents such as PDFs and PowerPoint presentations.

  1. Click Add (+).

  2. Select Files.

  3. Choose the document you want to upload.


Add a Virtual avatar

Click Add (+) in the Command Box, then choose Virtual avatar. Use Public image to browse Medeo’s avatar library, or switch to My image to use avatars you have added.

  1. Click Add (+).

  2. Select Virtual avatar.

  3. Choose Public avatar or My avatar, then select an avatar.

Search by name or narrow the results with Profession, Body, Age, Height, Reference type, Gender, Region, All, Temperament, Scene, and Purpose.


Adjust Creation Settings

Before you generate a video, use the settings in the Command Box to customize the result.

Available options include:


Choose the Model

Select Model to choose the image and video generation models used for visual assets. Select Auto on the right side of the Command Box to choose the planning model. Keep Auto selected if you want Medeo to choose for you.

Choose Aspect Ratio

Medeo supports two aspect ratios:

  • 9:16 — Vertical video

  • 16:9 — Horizontal video

To choose an aspect ratio:

  1. In the Command Box, select the aspect ratio.

  2. Click the Generate button (↑)

Medeo will then create your video in the selected aspect ratio.

Choose Duration

In the Command Box, click More (⋯) and select Duration. Choose Auto, 15s, 30s, or 60s to set your preferred video length.

With Auto, Medeo automatically determines the duration based on your content.


Choose Assets source

In the Command Box, click More (⋯) and select Asset source, then choose Auto, AI video, AI image, My upload assets, or Stock videos.

  • Auto — Automatically match the most suitable assets.

  • AI Video — Use AI-generated videos as the source.

  • AI Image — Use AI-generated images as the source.

  • My Uploaded assets — Use your own uploaded assets as the source.

  • Stock videos — Use official stock videos as the source. Over 1M videos available.

Choose AI style

Select the visual style of your video.

  1. Click Add (+).

  2. Select AI style.

  3. Choose Recommended styles.

Customize Voice

Set the voice for your video before you generate it.

Set the Auto language

Before generating a video, choose a language under Auto language.

Medeo uses your selection as the default language for future voiceovers.

Choose a Voice

Click Add (+) and select Voice. Choose a voice from the list.

You can filter or select voices by:

  • Gender

  • Language

  • Style


Generate Your Video

When your prompt, source material, and settings are ready, click the Generate button (↑).
