Create a reusable avatar from your own photo or video.Once processing is complete, Medeo saves the avatar under My avatar.
Check the requirements
Before creating a custom avatar:
Upload one reference photo or video.
Use a JPG or PNG photo, or an MP4 or MOV video.
Keep the file size under 20 MB.
Limit the avatar name to 30 characters.
Use a file you own or have permission to use.
A reference file must clearly show one person whose full face is visible and unobstructed.
Open the avatar creator
In the Creation bar, select Add (+).
Select Virtual avatar.
Select the My avatar tab.
Select Add new avatar.
Set up your avatar
Start by naming your avatar and adding a reference file.
Name your avatar
Use a name that helps you identify the avatar later, especially if you plan to create multiple versions.
In the Name field, enter the name. For example:
Alex - Casual
Alex - Business
Product Presenter - Blue Shirt
Avatar names can be up to 30 characters.
Add a reference file
Under Reference image or video, select Upload.
Choose a photo or video from your device.
Wait for the file preview to load.
For a photo:
Use a sharp, front-facing image with one person clearly visible.
Make sure the full face is visible and unobstructed.
Use even lighting and a natural expression.
Avoid blur, heavy filters, group photos, and objects that cover the face.
For a video:
Use stable, continuous footage with one person visible throughout.
Keep the face centered in frame and the lighting consistent.
Go for natural expressions and subtle movements.
Avoid camera shake, frequent cuts, overlays, and large movements.
Create and save your Avatar
Confirm that the name and reference file are correct.
Select Create.
Wait while Medeo processes the reference file.
Open My avatar once processing is complete.
Find the avatar by its saved name.
Processing time varies depending on the reference file and current demand.
Use your avatar in a video
Under My avatar, select the saved avatar.
Enter the text you want the avatar to say and select a Voice, or upload your own recording.
Select a Model that supports avatar video.
Click Generate.
Creating a custom avatar saves it to your My avatar folder. The avatar won't speak until you add text and a voice (or upload your own audio) and generate the video."
