Search the web for images and information

Written by Cheyenne

Medeo can search the web for real images and information when they are useful for your video. This works especially well for news, explainers, and other fact-based content.

By default, Medeo searches for both images and text. You can also ask Medeo to search for images only or text only.

For example:

  • “Find real images of Tokyo's Shibuya Crossing.”

  • “Search for information about the history of electric cars.”

  • “Find images and information about the Apollo 11 mission.”

Medeo can use relevant search results as visual references or as source material for narration and background information.

Good to know: Web Search uses Credits. Each image search costs 1.5 Credits, and each text search costs 1 Credit.

Find source text

Use Web Search to find relevant source text from the web, such as passages from articles, books, or other online sources.

  1. In the Command Box, enter the text or topic you want to find.

  2. Select Generate.

  3. Medeo searches for relevant text passages that match your query.

  4. Review the results.

  5. Select the passage you want to use in your project.
