A Recipe is a pre-built video template for a specific type of video. Instead of starting from a blank project, choose a Recipe and customize its predefined structure with your own content.
Each Recipe includes a predefined visual style, structure, and pacing. Depending on the Recipe, you can replace content such as text, images, and video clips before generating your video.
This approach works well when:
You want to create a polished video quickly.
You want to use a specific visual style or structure.
You are not sure how to build a video from scratch.
For example, an Explainer Recipe may provide a predefined structure with placeholder text and sample clips. Replace the placeholders with your own content while keeping the Recipe’s overall structure and visual style.
Use a Recipe as the starting point for your video and provide your own content.
Find the Recipe you want to use.
Hover over its thumbnail.
Select Use.
In the Command Box, review the input slots required by the Recipe.
Enter your content.
Select Generate.
Medeo generates the video using the Recipe's structure and your content.
